Setting
The setting, where this scenario takes place, is the portal of Õpilasmalev. The page lies in the address minu.malev.ee. The portal works as an intersection for every type of information put in by its users.
Actors
The actors involved in this scenario are Melvin (the negative user) and the portal itself.
Goals
The primary goal for Melvin in this scenario is to register for attending the ‘Malev’ camp. But since every user who registers is automatically registered also to ‘minu.malev’ community portal, Melvin as not very social person really doesn’t like that.
That’s where the secondary goal derives from: Melvin gets obsessed with finding the place where he could turn that (annoying) feature off.
Actions
To spend more time outside this summer, Melvin is forced to take part in the 'Malev' camp. Attending the camp requires the attendee to be registred online before the camp starts. To accomplish that Melvin opens his web browser and navigates to the 'Malev' home page, where he locates the registration form to enter all the required information.
But suddenly he’s distracted by the new 'minu.malev' community feature that allows to share all the media related to the camp activities. "What a waste of resources" thinks Melvin, he can never understand that kind of social networks and he hates when he is forced to create a public profile in anykind of social network.
Melvin spends most of the time looking for a way to turn off that feature, But after few frustrating hours he gives up and finishes his registration process.
Objects
The primary object necessary for this scenario to succeed is the registration form through which users can create their accounts.
The secondary object that Melvin uses is the profile settings page in the ‘minu.malev’ portal where Melvin hopes to find a way to turn his public profile off.
